On September 18th, Dr. Robert Bailey taught two workshops on records management at Hotel Old Tbilisi. The two workshops were "Introduction to Principles of Modern Records Management", and "Business Process Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Vital Records". In total, the workshops were attended by over 50 participants, and were well-received.

During the workshops, Dr. Bailey was able to draw on his extensive experience in the field, both in North America and South East Asia. The first workshop offered a wonderful introduction to the field of records management, and showed participants how the field has evolved over the years. It also discussed filing systems, retention schedules, and information security. The second focused on how to plan for the worst, and got participants thinking about their own organizations' resiliency in the face of disaster. "I felt like he was talking about me," said one participant, referring to how relevant the workshop had been to her company's situation.
